Events & Charity - Hanover Search & Selection

Since Hanover Search & Selection was established we have always believed corporate social responsibility to be extremely important. As a result we endeavour to do what we can to give back. 2008 has seen contributions towards ‘Rainbow Trust’, ‘Guards in Action’ and ‘Wooden Spoon’.

Part of the funding raising we do is through our various corporate events, including the Annual Cartier Polo and numerous Golf Days across some of the UK’s top courses.

	Annual Cartier International Polo at Guards Polo Club
	Hanover Marquee: Every year Hanover has the pleasure of being the only privately owned company to host a marquee at the largest polo day in the world! Royalty, celebrities and leading players combined with a 25,000 strong crowd make attending this event an experience you’ll never forget. Follow the highs and lows of the players as they gallop across the pitch, ride each other off or turn on a sixpence in pursuit of that all important goal.
	Charity & Corporate Golf Days
	Hanover Golf Days: Hanover regularly hosts corporate golf days at some of the top courses throughout the UK. Not only do they allow our clients to get out the office and enjoy a great day with like minded individuals, but they also give us the opportunity to try and raise some money for our chosen charity. 2007 saw Hanover host a superb day at Brocket Hall, while 2008 has another exciting day lined up at St.Georges Hill.
	Supported Charity
	Wooden Spoon: Hanover recently chose to support the Wooden Spoon as its principle charity. Having met the team our staff believe that the work they do is extremely important and that our help can go a long way to making a difference. The Wooden Spoon is rugby's charity supporting mentally, physically and socially disadvantaged children and young people. Spoon has committed to over £14 million in spending for projects. It has also organised over 2,000 events and had over 25,000 ties worn by its loyal members and supporters.
