Hanover Search Group continues to grow as the Search firm of choice for Insurance, Asset and Wealth Management

Following an extremely busy first half of the financial year Hanover Search Group continues to grow as the Search firm of choice for Insurance, Asset and Wealth Management. With offices in Europe, South Africa, Asia and United States we strive to work closely with our clients and we exist to make a fundamental difference to your organisations.

Starting in the UK, we are very pleased to announce the promotion of Stephen Phipps to the position of UK CEO. Stephen will now take responsibility for the development & management of the UK business and will continue to report to James Emmett as Group CEO.

Stephen comments – “This is an exceptionally strong time for Hanover. With our 20 year old brand, global reach and industry leading staff, we are well positioned to continue growing and seeing significant success working with the leading clients and candidates in the market.”

Another exciting development is the appointment of it’s newest Group Board member, with the promotion of James Ridd to the position of International Managing Director. James will be responsible for all of HSG’s International development including the US, Asia & EMEA. James will initially be seconded to our New York office where he will work on developing our US growth plans. James will be supported by Cate Furman who has stepped up into the US P&C Client Director position and will spearhead the opening of our West Coast office in LA.

Comment from our new International MD - “This is an exciting time to join the Board and to work with our international consultants and partners in expanding our global reach. We have already set strong foundations in place that will help propel our business to have an even greater impact and make a fundamental difference to how we work with all our clients across the US, EMEA and Asia.”

We are also delighted to welcome Michele Hanson to our US business. Michele has had a long successful career in the Asset Management Industry & will now bring her considerable expertise to HSG where she will help to spearhead our US Asset Management search practice. Michele will be based in San Francisco.
