Michael has over two decades of experience recruiting senior professionals in the non-life actuarial and adjacent markets (cat modelling, ILS analysis, data science and analytics, risk etc.). He produces Hanover’s yearly salary survey for the UK actuarial market and has released over 20 research and thought leadership pieces over the years. He has presented on a number of occasions, including two webinars for the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries UK, as well as in-person presentations for the UK IFoA (GIRO 2022), Society of Actuaries Ireland (Annual Convention 2025) and US Casualty Actuaries in Europe (2025). He has a mathematics and economics degree from York University UK and is a self-taught programmer who embraces AI wholeheartedly.
