Steven joined Hanover as a Partner to enhance and build out the technology and technical sales practices, and has been recruiting sales and technology professionals since 2006. He has built search practices throughout North America, focusing on multiple sectors including consumer goods, digital transformation, ecommerce, SaaS, fintech, technology and data science & analytics. Steven works retained executive searches throughout the US and Canada, and has a passion for developing new clients and assuring 100% client and candidate satisfaction. Steven is a graduate of the University of Memphis.

What is something you lean on daily? 

I start each day with quiet time and prayer, which helps me get focused.

What advice would you give someone looking to start their career within Executive Search? 

I’ve heard people say that they would like to “give executive search a try”. That is a recipe for failure. If you’re in executive search, dedicate 100% of your focus and energy to it and give it time. Have persistence, but also have empathy and treat everyone with respect. Talk to as many people within your industry as possible and be a sponge, absorbing as much knowledge as possible.
