What gives you meaning at work?
For me, it’s the human side of the role – being trusted at pivotal moments in someone’s career and being able to offer perspective when it truly matters. Much of my work happens quietly, through honest conversations that aren’t about job titles or compensation, but about timing, confidence, and direction. I find real purpose in helping people think clearly when they’re at a crossroads, and in supporting clients who are genuinely committed to building strong, sustainable leadership teams rather than simply making a quick hire.
I also deeply value the long-term nature of the relationships. When someone returns years later – as a client, a candidate, or simply for advice – it tells me the work was done with care and integrity. That’s incredibly motivating.
What is a little-known fact about you?
I started my career on the Isle of Man, known for the TT races, the Bee Gees, and Sir Mark Cavendish.
