Alex joined Hanover in 2012 and is our Americas Managing Director. Initially joining the firm to establish our Global Technology & Transformation practice, during his time at Hanover he has led teams of SMEs who have also focused on Operations, Finance, Risk & Compliance. Alex has over 13 years’ experience running cross-functional C-suite searches for executives across Insurance, Banking, Asset and Wealth Management industries and has delivered requirements for Chief Information (Technology) Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Risk Officer, Chief Finance Officer, Chief Data Officer, Chief Digital Officer and Transformation Leaders. Based in our LA office, Alex leads teams split across the East and West coast and delivers assignments across North America and Europe.
What excites you most about your role?
One of the most exciting things for me is the role we play in helping our clients to achieve their strategic goals. I’m hugely passionate about our role in driving growth for our clients and there is nothing more pleasing than completing a search which results in an exceptional appointment which makes a fundamental difference to our clients’ business.
What did you want to be when you were younger?
I always thought that I was going to be a pilot! I actually did a handful of lessons and was due to join Oxford Aviation Training when I made a U-turn and decided to move to London to accept an offer to work as a recruiter for a boutique financial services recruitment firm.
