Deepan is an experienced executive search professional who joined Hanover in 2023, bringing over 15 years of industry experience. He specialises in executing searches across Hedge Funds, Investment Banking, and Private Equity, with a focus on placing Analysts and Portfolio Managers for various hedge fund strategies. Deepan has been based in London for over a decade, having commenced his recruitment career at a NASDAQ-listed firm. He partners with clients in the EU, UK, and the US to help them build top-performing teams in the Hedge Fund sphere. Deepan is known for his trusted advisor capacity, professional and transparent approach, and building strong relationships with clients and candidates.
What did you want to be when you were younger?
Since a young age, I held aspirations of becoming a doctor, yet my love for cricket proved too great to ignore. I had the privilege of receiving coaching from the late father of Nasser Hussain, who played a significant role in nurturing my talents and fostering my dreams of playing professional cricket. Representing my country, Sri Lanka, at the highest level became my ultimate ambition.
