Laurence leads our global private equity practice, recruiting C-suite talent pre-deal and post-transaction across funds’ portfolio assets. Before pivoting to resourcing and technology consulting, Laurence spent nearly 20 years in media and advertising being client-focused and working across a number of verticals, whilst building and managing teams of scale.
What excites you most about your role?
The diverse nature of the clients we support, being domain agnostic and focused on the dynamism of private capital backed assets, takes us on a journey of high growth and learning at pace. Inertia is opposite to what our clients need and how we operate.
What would you like to explore and learn more about?
I am continually pushing myself to learn more about the situations our clients face and the domains they are in. I can’t profess to be an advisor to them if I am not well-informed. All learning is a regenerative cycle which is typically 18 months; if you’re saying the same thing again and again without additive insight, you’re not as valued as you once were and you lose your competitive edge. Keep pushing and listening!
