Michael Stefan

As a Partner at Hanover, Michael specialises in leadership search within the insurance ecosystem, particularly risk management and analytics. A mathematical economics graduate of York University, he has a deep understanding of the challenges and benefits that big data brings to (re)insurance, as well as the individuals who will transform the industry in the future. Michael is a group leader in actuarial, insurance linked securities and catastrophe modelling, with extensive connections in both London and Bermuda. Michael has a psychometrics diploma, has advised Lloyds and other P&C insurers on their compensation strategies and publishes a number of salary studies every year.
