Victoria is the CEO of Hanover | City CV, the talent solutions arm of the business. She holds several external board advisory positions, is a Henley executive coach, and is an international award-winning CV writer.
In 2009, Victoria founded City CV, a specialist career development and outplacement consultancy, to fill a market gap for high-quality coaching, personal branding, CV/resume writing, and outplacement support. City CV went on to merge with Hanover in 2021. Since then, she has successfully expanded Hanover | City CV into a key part of Hanover’s global business, empowering executives and board members while helping companies protect their most valuable asset — their people.
Victoria’s career began in global recruitment, followed by senior talent roles at Goldman Sachs and Merrill Lynch. Frequently featured in leading media, she is also a popular keynote speaker on leadership, confidence, empowerment and getting ‘board ready’. She regularly leads programmes, workshops and masterclasses for Hanover clients and corporate partners.

Building a Company
In 2009, I fulfilled my entrepreneurial dream by launching City CV from my kitchen table with a newborn by my side. From the ground up, I built a unique career management service, alongside a talented and passionate team. It’s been challenging, but my drive, sense of purpose, and the incredible people I’ve worked with continue to make the journey deeply rewarding.
A Little-Known Fact
In 2006, I co-founded my first business, ‘Accommodating You,’ a service for homeowners in London and Paris to rent out their homes to travellers while they were away. No one thought it would work, two years later Airbnb took the world by storm.
