The Financial Planning sector has gone through a significant period of evolution and organisations have asked themselves some very difficult questions around their overall service proposition as well as how they can develop a charging structure that is commercially viable, whilst meeting client needs. This has led to a great deal of opportunity and has created an entrepreneurial atmosphere where acquisition, consolidation and merger are seen as a way of future proofing businesses and gaining market share. Organisations are looking to grow through organic means and by recruiting externally as they look to exploit the current sector opportunity.
The change in landscape and an increased confidence in the economy has exposed an extreme skills shortage amongst financial planning professionals meaning it is essential for businesses to use the right approach when seeking and targeting the best individuals in the market place.
